Hi,

I'm having problems running PathSnagger 2.0b2 under 10.6.4 on my MacBook Pro (first gen -- Intel Core Duo).

It's the first time I try to use the software; I've installed the preference pane and copied the service to ~/Library/Services

I see the new contextual-menu items (Snap Path Unix, etc.) but if I try selecting any of them, I get the following error in the Finder:

---

The “Snag Path Windows” service could not be used because the “PathSnaggerServiceBundle” application is not compatible with your computer.

Contact the vendor of “PathSnaggerServiceBundle” for an updated version.

---

Also, the "PathSnaggerServiceBundle.service" application has an icon with a strike through... Did I download the PowerPC binary by mistake?! ;-)

Thanks! Can't wait to use your software.

If it doesn't exist, you can create it. Just go to the Library folder in your Home folder and create a new folder named Services.

Neither. I have reports of people using it in 10.6.2 with no problem. The other report with this issue was a MacBook 1.83Ghz Intel Core Duo.

Do you have any other services installed? Does it work with a different user?

Is it the OS version or the MacMini model that you think might be the cause?

Glenn, that's been reported, but I haven't been able to recreate it.

Edit: This is not to say I'm ignoring it! Just that it's hard to fix what I can't recreate.

Getting this error message on a MacMini 1.83Ghz / Mac OS X 10.6.2 / 2GB RAM: "The Snag Path File" service could not be used because the "PathSnaggerServiceBundle" application is not compatible with your computer. Contact the vendor of "PathSnaggerServiceBundle" for an updated version. Any idea how to fix this?
