Cool tool – I had “CopyPathToClipboard” under Windows and this is the (almost) perfect replacement in my post-windoze-era . One thing I’m really missing: Support for unicode characters. Filenames with german characters Ä, Ö, Ü are ignored.
Anyways a great helper, especially the options for win, hfs and unix style paths – this is a must in mixed environments

is it possible for you to add a “prefix” to the copy like in filepathCM?

for instance when I copy a file from our server the copy looks like this:
\\BBI\Dept-Marketing\Public\web_player_13\review.jpg

I need it to look like this:
\\filer01\BBI\Dept-Marketing\Public\web_player_13\review.jpg

just wondering if there is any way to accomplish this?

Quick addendum, on a fresh 10.5.7 install, I had to manually copy the prefpane to ~/Library/PreferencePanes. Double clicking the prefpane to install did actually install it but then an error occurs “Cannot launch”. So copy it manually. Thanks again!

While this works (Intel, 10.5.7), I need something to get the full path from server items. The result path needs to be something like: afp://123.123.123.123/Archives/myfolder
Unfortunately, PathSnagger, nor Terminal drag, or other AppleScripts (MacOSXhints.com) doesn’t do this.
